COVID-19 and TAX SEASON SAFETY

We are closely following the news to ensure that everyone is doing their utmost to contain the spread of the coronavirus.

We would like to inform our clientele the following:

Dear Clients,

In light of the COVID-19 outbreak, we wanted to inform you that we will be adhering strictly to all advice provided by the World Health Organization. We are also closely observing all protocol advised by local and international authorities.

The well-being of our clients and our team is of absolute priority, and we would like to assure you that health and safety has our complete attention.

All of our team are fully updated on the current requirements and are undertaking radical health and safety measures to ensure that the highest possible hygiene standards are maintained throughout every aspect of our daily work.

We have taken these additional precautionary measures to protect you, and ourselves, as we continue to stay open for regular business hours during this tax season.

We would like to take this opportunity to highlight the availability of using our SmartVault protected document transfer system. It is great for any sensitive document that has social security numbers and other personal information. We receive an email notification every time something is uploaded.  Emails have been deemed as a nonsecure method for protecting social security numbers. Protecting your personal identity is also important to us.

Using postal mail, after hour drop off through our mail slot, or electronic method of document delivery helps for those avoiding social contact. With delivered documents, we can enter the details that we see in the forms and contact you by phone if we have questions. We have a good pattern of success working with these methods. Please contact our office if you would like to switch your office meeting to a delivered document method of tax preparation.

We will be following developments on a daily basis with regards to safety for all.

If you have any further questions, please contact us.

Stay safe!

Sincerely,

STEVEN Z. FREEMAN, CPA and the FREEMAN & ASSOCIATES  Team
